Cook the sausage, beef and onion in a large skillet, breaking up the meat, until the meats are browned and cooked through. Simmer in a little water for a few hours until soft.   1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Peel and dice the aubergine add a little bit of salt to it and let sit for 10 minutes..
